Creating toilles and tailoring for couture garments, sold in the UK and Milan, based in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh.
Royal Conservatoire of Scotland- Edinburgh University
Costume Supervisor 2013
Designed and created costumes for the modern dance piece “Colours,” choreographed by Vincent Hantam. This piece was based around the life work of Margaret Morris, and was part of the New Works Oxygen Performances at the 2013 Edinburgh Festival. As designer, responsibilities included creating designs and maintaining communication with the choreographer and producer, developing a budget, and illustrating costumes as well as technical renderings. As Costume Supervisor, responsibilities were to manage a team of three, and instruct them on costume making, cutting six out of the ten costumes, hand dyeing each piece, fitting them to specified dancers, and dressing and running wardrobe while in performance.

Cutter, Costume Making 2013
Cut and constructed costumes for the world stage premier of "Princess Mononoke," which performed in London in April of 2013. It then toured and performed in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, in May of 2013, returning for more performances in London in June. As Cutter, responsibilities included communicating with the Costume Designer and cutting and constructing costumes as specified by illustrations.

Hand stitched beading and sequins to corsets and dancewear, as well as helped with alterations. I occasionally picked up shopping items from various shops in the city.

Cutter/First Hand 2008-2011
Worked as a Costume Designer for several Shakespeare productions, as well as other classical works. Also assisted other designers, worked as a Cutter/Draper, and textile dyer and painter, along with mask and costume construction. Also ran Wardrobe for several productions, and worked as a Costume Designer for Educational Residencies and the award winning Fall Festival of Shakespeare. Designed Costumes for The Words Upon The Windo Pane and Sleepy Hollow, Directed by Siouxsie Easter. Acted as mentor to student assistants and helped maintain the Costume Shop.

Assisted the Menswear Draper by cutting costumes for A Christmas Carol and various other shows, as well as instructed the costume construction staff. Oversaw finished costume work and building, as well as assisted the Designers in fittings.

Assisted the Costume Director with fittings, costume maintenance, wardrobe responsibilities, and inventory, as well as cut and created dance costumes and dyed and painted textiles and dance shoes.
Romantasy Exquisite Corset Company- San Francisco, California
Cutter/Intern 2007-2010
Began as a Corset Construction Intern, and quickly moved to patterning and cutting corsets for men and women. Corsets were built and customised according to client’s measurements, and in a variety of historical silhouettes.

Assisted the Costume Shop supervisor with helping students in the Costume and Makeup Technology classes with building garments. Designed Costumed for main stage productions of Cabaret and Largo Desolato. Ran Wardrobe, maintained costumes with repairs, and acted as Painter/Dyer on several productions.

Dressed chorus members and performed wardrobe maintenance for the National Broadway Tour of Disney's "the Lion King," among other touring Broadway shows.

Metal Arts Apprentice 2003-2004
Molding sculptural pieces for commission and sale for the National Historic trust, as well as cast molds out of iron. Skills acquired: Wax melt out and parted molds, iron ore breakdown, iron casting and pouring, welding: mig, tig, arc.
